Let AntiqueGuns.com sell your collection on consignment. Send your items to Antiqueguns.com, or arrange to see me at a major Antique Firearms or Civil War Show somewhere in the US. For large collections I will arrange to fly to your location to pick them up. Shipping Address:
Antiqueguns.com view your items and contact you with recommended reserve prices. Items will not sell for less than the reserve, unless you agree in advance. Antiqueguns.com will scan your photos, prepare the images and post the images to our server. We will type the description, handle all negotiations, accept payment and forward your portion of payment. Our charge is:
For items of value under $500, I am probably more interested in buying them than selling them on consignment. So still contact me. You will receive a higher net value through Antiqueguns.com than conventional auction houses because: Buyers will never be charged a Buyer's premium, that puts more money in the Sellers pocket. Our sales commissions are less than what auction houses charge. We deal in mail order, so only residents of California are responsible for sales tax. Again, this is more money that can be realized by the seller. The net effect is that Antiqueguns.com charges 10-15% total against your net, large auctions houses charge 30-43% against your net. Worldwide exposure, Antiqueguns.com has an established client base from being in business on the web since spring of 1996. Just look at the counter on our front page, more buyers will view your items at Antiqueguns.com than at any auction house and any other antique firearm site. The proof is in the pudding, many antique firearm dealers consign items to Antiqueguns.com, but would not consider selling items through conventional auction houses. Reserve Auctions: Sellers will be protected with an agreed upon reserve, established prior to the auction beginning. The buyer will be allowed an 3-Day right to inspect an item, with no questions asked return priveledge. At this time Antiqueguns.com cannot sell items requiring an FFL to transfer. This will be changed in the future. To get started: E-mail or send a list of items being sold, with limited descriptions, but include any modifications from original configuration and any unusual features. You must include and NRA Grade, if you are unsure how to do this, click here for NRA Grading Guidelines. If you are uncomfortable with this, e-mail or send me some quality photos and I will grade the items. Or send me the items and I will grade the items. Once I have graded the items you will receive and letter stating NRA condition and an estimate of value based upon condition. Valuation will come from the most recent price guides available. In the case of Firearms, Flayderman's Guide to Antique Firearms and their Value or the Blue Book of Gun Values will be used. If you have any questions you can contact me at: Consignments@antiqueguns.com
