And any M-1903s inspected in 1930 would be refurbs (or special target or sales guns), not new build (other than special target or sales arms, of course), since Rock Island stopped building the '03 in June, 1919, with around 2000 unfinished receivers sent to Springfield, and Springfield stopped building issue type '03s in 1927.
