The weapon is a Whitney Navy Revolver in the 6000 serial range. I do not have a photo but have requested one from the seller. It is described as having a boxed "TB" cartouche on the left grip; and a "C" martial inspection mark on the left side of the barrel at the breech and the left side of the frame ahead of the cylinder, the cylinder, left side of the hammer and the trigger guard.
All the martial Whitney's I have seen had the "B" inspector marks on the right side barrel & frame and left barrel; & cylinder. But all I have seen were also higher serial number ranges.
