A local museum had this French? infantry hanger handed in, unfortunately I only have images of markings, not the overall hanger. The main question pertains to the blade edge manufacturer? marking and the following date of "June 1815". Is this date a model designation or date of manufacture? Also can anyone please tell what the other markings mean? I am assuming this is French but the Mre Klingenthal preceeding the date - is that German? Any help appreciated, Adrian.
