079-0721-4969, Cased 2nd Model Trantor 54 bore. BUY NOW
079-0721-4969, Cased 2nd Model Trantor 54 bore, (.442). The 2nd Model Tranters also had a pin on the frame that allowed the attachment of a removable loading lever, but the pin had a small projection that allowed the lever to remain attached to the gun unless a notch in the lever was aligned with the stud projection to remove it. The later example of these guns, manufactured after about 1856, have Tranter Patent serial numbers and end with a T-suffix. These guns not only include Tranter Patent lock works, but also a newly improved version of the Adams solid frame, which was patented by Tranter in 1856. At this point Tranter revolvers rarely appear in the Adams assigned serial number range. Originally cased by Trantor with serial number, 44xx on frame of gun and serial number 43xx, which is probably a misstamping. The case has screw drivers, ramrod, flask, oil bottle and cases of caps. The case shows honest use. The gun has no dealer marks on it. 90% deep blue, 40% thin rainbow hues cylinder. The grips are crisply checkered with tight crisp action. Fine English engraving. Excellent overall with fine box. Bright fine bore with scattered patches of fine surface residue. Excellent gun, fine case.

CREDIT CARD FEES: Domestic: 3.5%. International: 6.0%
WIRES: If sending a wire add $30
INSURANCE: We will only insure through the mail carrier when specifically asked to.
Shipping does not include insurance through courier. We carry our own insurance but there is a $1000 deductible. If you would like your box insured through the shipping company, the cost is $10 and you add an additional $1 for every hundred dollars’ worth of insurance that you want. $1000 insured value = $20. We do our best to package items as secure as we can, in the previous 6 years we have had 3 guns broken (all 3 were muskets) and we have shipped thousands of guns. USPS is difficult to get money out of even if you do insure through the USPS.
Cost: US $1 per $100 in value, plus $10. Ex. $1500 Insurance = $15 + $10 = $25
