The gun has a 4 inch barrel with factory engraved hammer, lock, uppertang and trigger guard. With Pineapple in front of the triggerguard. Tarnished silver on medallion on the spine of the stock. A gold and platinium band on the back of the barrel. Checkered grips, very good overall. This is a period copy of a Henry Deringer, which was the pistol used to shoot Lincoln. These were very popular pistols of the 1850’s. In the gold fields of California, ads exist where the asking price of a pair of Henry Deringers was at $250 for the pair, which was an unheard of price at that time.
