079-1220-2924, Starr DA .44 Army, Bbl. 6″ rnd. w/ semicircular sight. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. 1 Piece walnut grips w/ clear cartouches. Heavily pitted near relic condition. Metal has dark rusty appearance w/ general deep pitting. Grips show wear w/ numerous dents & handling marks having lg. chip at butt. Action will not function. Dark rusty bore. The serial numbers are not visible due to pitting. This did not lay in wet ground the grips would have rotted away, the gun probably in an attic, where is would get wet from time to time, but alway dry, so the wood did not rot. Better than most relics, with nice untouched wood. Est.
