GR-0924-6358, Colt M-1851 Navy, .36 cal, 6 shot. #207xxx matching on the bottom of the gun, the wedge has no number and the cylinder has no number on it. The cylinder gray color and wear match the rest of the gun perfectly, I believe that the cylinder is most likely a very old replacement, like from the 1800s replacement. The original could have blown up and it was replaced with this one. There is just no way to fake the wear and color that is consistent all over the gun. It was made in 1869. Overall the gun is mottled gray with clear barrel address, trace of rainbow hues on the lever and frame. The cylinder shows a 75% strong scene. The grips show 50% original varnish. The bore is bright, crisply rifled with scattered fine spots and some light scattered residue. Bore needs cleaning but is a very good condition. Very good overall and better than average condition. Crisp tight mechanics with 3 clicks, functional half cock and tight full cock position.
