GR79-0821-5220, MAS 1873 The service revolver model 1873 Chamelot-Delvigne was the first double-action revolver used by the French Army. It was produced by Manufacture d’armes de Saint-Étienne from 1873 to 1887. Although replaced by the Model 1892 revolver, it was nevertheless widely used during the First World War.  The Chamelot-Delvigne 11mm Modele 1873 was adopted by the French army as a service revolver for non-commissioned officers.   Overall smooth gray with #G99xxx matching on all visible numbers.  The grips are checked and show light wear.  Crisp tight action.  Bore is bright and shiny, rifling is crisp. Fine condition bore. Functional in DA and SA.  Very good overall.
